Olamide took to his Instagram page to disagree with the statement, pointing out that he does not belong to that school of thought yet. According him, a cheerful giver can never have savings.
He stated that, Aliko Dagote could have decided to solve the economic hardship of Nigerian by sharing his wealth but doing that would have made the billionaire businessman a poor man.
This however, is in sharp contrast to Davido’s point of view. Davido has been known for a whole lots of philanthropic efforts of lifting up unknown artistes to superstars while funding all their music projects. Davido believes successful people “rise by lifting others” while Olamide thinks otherwise.
