The Super Eagles of Nigeria crashed out of the 2018 World Cup after the team lost 1-2 to Argentina on Tuesday night.

Marcos Rojo was Argentina’s unlikely hero as his stunning late winner secured a win that keeps Lionel Messi’s side in the World Cup.

Messi had scored at the 14th minute with a clinical finish while Victor Moses scored the country’s equaliser via a penalty.

But a goal by the Manchester United defender ensured Argentina qualified for the round of 16.
